Eye Cue DA COLI GAWD
The new #12 is bold and black. Browns are back 😎
If you know basketball... at least think you know ball, ATL over the Cavs is the most logical conclusion to the series.
Here's why...
*Cavs will parade Kyrie for 35 MPG with his terrible defense. Unlike against the Bulls, there is nowhere for Kyrie to hide against ATL. Kyrie can't check Teague or Carroll and can't run with Korver all over the court, shifting through screens.
*Atlanta can score at every position which will put more 2-way pressure on the Cavs role players. An underrated aspect of the game is basketbal IQ. If an average player knows he playing against another average player, they start thinking they have the platform to start playing outside the box. Cavs did this against the Bulls but won't do against the Hawks. Outside LeBron, I think the Hawks feel they can dominate or at least match the Cavs production from roster spots 2-9.
*Hawks actually have offensive threats in the frontcourt. Threats that both have perimeter ability to the 3 point line. Can't pack the paint like they did against Chicago.
*Coaching. Hawks > Cavs. Blatt is simply riding the LeBron wave right now. Got him feeling confident like he's the actual reason the Cavs are where they are today. Happens to every coach till they realize the opposite is in fact true.
These four reasons will be why the Hawks beat, and likely dominate, Cleveland... unless LeBron goes all world, at which point, the series becomes a toss up.
Thank me later.
