if you are a wing/small forward than can defend and shoot 3s you getting paid.

If andre roberson was an average 3 point shooter he would be maxed out.
Its crazy man. Im talking to this irrational nets fan that im cool with and he really treating Otto like a top 5 young talent rn. Like dude didnt eat due to the greatness Beal and Wall displayed last year. He might give 20 pts as a #1 or 2 option, but his (later proven somewhat unsustainable) incredible numbers that he had for most of the year were majorly due to the other great pieces. Theres no other GREAT pieces on the Nets

Floor...16ppg,8rpg,50fg, 45 3pt percentage, 2 steals with Wall without Wall his ppg is higher

Ceiling: all-star if wizards become a no.1 seed only Freak, LBJ, Melo, Hayward are better 3s in the East...possible all nba 2nd team defense

Current: high iq, great spot up 3 point shooter, great on ball amd help defender, mid range game, great unselfish character

Proven skillset: defender

You think Otto Porter can defend? He can't keep anyone his height in front of him. He's quick with his hands but that's about it.

I saw the Chinese come thru and whooped Georgetown ass, had them nikkas head snapping back and forth and i saw Otto curling up like a bytch in corner instead of scrapping with the team... Couldn't have a player like that on my team. fukk that guy

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
I would hope that his floor is him where he is now. Don't think his ceiling is much higher though. He's young, but I don't see any reason to think he'll develop much in terms of shot creation which is what his game is missing. Expect some regression to the mean on his 3PT%, and definitely without Wall feeding him dimes and being placed into a larger offensive role that I'm not so sure he's ready for.

Otto's a 3-and-D player, which is great, but I don't think he's anything more than that. I knew he was gonna get a max deal, that's the nature of RFA, but he's definitely not worth one.

If you're the Nets, I don't think you have much to lose so :yeshrug:

Like I think he's a more athletic lankier modern Athreeza, with less defensive skill but more versatility, and fits what you want in today's game, but dude shouldn't be THE star anywhere. and I think he'll be thrown out his zone with dudes like Lin and DLo as the main facilitators. Unless he learns to create his own shot off the dribble. Then the sky's the limit

I'm not impressed. Half the time I forget he's even on the floor.

A league-average SF.

It's not all about points

Dudes acting like the NBA is pickup talking bout "well what off the dribble moves can Otto do...."

Nah he has other very tangible skills that are extremely valuable

25 mill ain't shyt in today's NBA

You can be a solid team with Otto as your third best player. Not everyone meant for greatness team wise. Wizards were respectable as fukk last year
