I think Jim Jones was (probably still is) on some Jay-Z shyt.

Wants all the shine to be focused on him and not his artists. Sign them so that he can use their talent and pass them off as Jim Jones' talent.

Peep how Stack Bundles was rappin on "Can't go on this way".

Stack Bundles - Cant Go On This Way - YouTube

Beanie Sigel said in an interview that this song was basically about how the Roc was breaking up and how Jay and Dame was feedin him like they was suppose to. Dame stole money from the State Property clothing line and Jay-Z was stingy with the marketing money.

Not only this but also in another song Stack Bundles said "Im sufferin', from the same shyt that made Beans fall back".

So I think it is obvious Jim Jones is tryna be the only hot nikka. Stack Bundles was killed in '07 and had an album already recorded yet 6 years later Jim Jones never released anything.

underrated post. :wow:

Ghost of Rich Porter tape is crazy, those Vampire tapes are too nice. Huge improvement, from Capo and POME.

Legends and Coke Rush still gives me chills.

You have to admit he switched up his approach and he has improved as a song writer, you can tell the music is more focused, its less about swagger & charisma. That style of music works for Dip Set collabos, but as a solo artist I feel Jim Jones finally found the perfect balance. He can't rhyme like Cam'Ron and Hell Rell his whole career.
