Dude is rich, does exactly what he wants when he wants, gone on a few tours, dropped 5-6 albums, is in his mid 40s, has kids and you want him to work like you? :hhh:.

Sometimes he does movies, sometimes he appears in series, sometimes he murks out verses, sometimes he designs clothes, sometime he headlines the biggest festivals in the world, sometimes he does yoga with fukking monks in the jungle. Seems like a pretty nice life.

This is just a let's bash an artist because he didn't do what I wanted him to do.

Another Kast album was indeed in the works. 10 songs all produced by Organized Noize to mark their 10 year anniversary since the debut. It got scrapped and Big Boi started focusing on solo albums. In the midst of it, their parent label folded and they ended up on Jive and then Epic. As a stipulation in their contract, they couldn't release anything together unless it was new OutKast music.

Andre 3000 has toyed with the idea of an album for over a decade, but nothing concrete ever came out of it aside from he was working on an album. Other than guest spots on other people's songs, he hasn't done much rapping. Anybody that's listened to Kast albums already knew his thoughts towards aging in Hip Hop and just rapping in general before he started saying it in interviews. Prime example is his verse on "Rosa Parks".

Breh, ya'll need to remember that. Ya'll be in here bashing rappers in emotional rants like estranged friends that you ain't spoken to in years.

Everything I posted was a run down of what actually happened vs. me just posting off emotion. Google it.

Has put half assed effort into that as well. We lost out on a potential solo joint from him and more Kast music for a :flabbynsick: acting career

Four brothers :comeon:
Idlewild
Some Hendrix flick that...did this shyt even get released? :dahell:
And a sprinkling of small inconsequential roles here and there

:fuggu: lazy ass weirdo

:mjcry:
Jimi's younger sister didn't let them use his music in the film..it was ruined before it was even released.

His label blocked him from releasing music. He essentially got blacked ball, probably because he didn't play the game after the Love Below......he abandoned the game and because he didn't be the music industry's bytch......they fukked him over.......see Lauryn Hill........

He might not be passionate for either at this stage. To make great music it has to be a full time gig Imo. And of course acting is all Hollywood, Dre seems way too in touch with his spiritual side to fully embrace the demonism Hollywood has to offer.

When you have made that much money is easy to get complacent, especially with an Artform that is very superficial in nature.

I don’t blame him one way or another :manny:

Get over it.... That nikka didn't enjoy the industry, label politics and all the bullshyt that comes with it.

I rather him to be just chilling and enjoying his life than be out here trying to rest capture the magic like Eminem...

I got more than enough 3000 material between his Outkast albums and his features. I personally think it dope he didn't follow the typical rapper handbook and did his own thing...
