Real rap I just finished listening to his whole album and I've come to the conclusion that son hasn't said one captivating bar since around Dreamchasers 2 and even then he was on a gradual decline lyrically . He got dissed twice by Kendrick & Cassidy and both rebuttals to the diss were lukewarm and ain't hold no typa weight that's when I officially knew homebody was asswater .

If I'm wrong then maybe I haven't been doing my extensive research and for the record I'm not denying he doesn't have bangers but I'm talking about pure skill and son hasn't been showcasing for a couple years in comparison to his Flamerz mixtape days .

Bruh got flow and said a few ok rhymes on the album...typical shxt tho....no bars or verses that really stuck out to me....
Accurate description of the album , he didn't say nothing stellar at all and depending on the individual won't have that much replay value , shyt felt like a throwaway mixtape honestly but as usual the public gon eat it up regardless but overall that album was just vague I don't know what son was tryna to accomplish with it .

I don't think cats listen to him for lyrical content
I feel you , but nikkas forget that Meek Mill used to be a battle rapper and that requires some lyrical skill off rip , now you couldn't even tell that was a part of sons past with the shyt he be puttin out .

Nobody is looking for Meek to be Pusha T

He's never been the best lyricist. I was in another thread thus morning saying this.

Meek has so much room to improve as an artist (which is scary) given the fact this is only his second album and it's better than his first.

"Ever seen one of your dogs transform into a snake " :wow:

This was my shyt summer of 2011 , an another example of how much he fell off .[/QUOTE\]

For real?

Ever seen your dog transform into a snake?

Meek is becoming a more well rounded artist. There is a reason why battle rappers can't transition into the game smoothly. It takes more than just bars to be great.
