not from my experience, but i know exactly the type you're talking about -- caribbean / african women who turn their nose up to black men born in the states (even second gen) .

Yep. Well, it goes both ways. You either have Haitian women who are the afformentioned types, or you have Haitian women who are surprisingly Americanized, so much so that the only black men they'll date are AA men. I've heard many of those types say "I can't date a Haitian man".
