I had to laugh at this part. Unless he was a big donor to one of the Senators in his state, the US. embassy didn't do shyt for him. Haitian police didn't lift a finger looking for his son. I feel for him, but it sounds like he might have been abusing his wife for her to bounce like that.

Yeah dude looked pretty desperate when i saw him. Very disheveled which is unlike him.

Honestly i dont know if he was abusive. I'd been to the house many times and seen them interact. It was kinda weird since her english was limited at the time but he was very fond of her and very affectionate towards her. Then again i had met his ex wife (white jewish) who had nothing good to say about him so who knows. I know he was good to his kids from the ex-wife. When i worked for him the child from the haitian woman was still a newborn. I think that's the one she escaped with unless they had another after i left.
But it was funny seing her at the festival in Camp-Perrin getting her gwouyad on, tho

I see haitian girls mostly with haitian guys. Some date outside. Like any other groups i guess.

Over here though for some reason we (haitian men) have that "player" rep.
