No. The pick was a bad throw he should've never made.
Here's the thing. A qb that doesn't make that throw isn't throwing Nelson open on that 3rd and long where he outmanned that DB. HE doesn't make that throw on 3rd and 5 to Kerley for a first down conversion with a man all over him.

I'll take that "mistake" all the time because the only mistake was in not knowing his personnel.

We won that game because he made those throws all game minus one time

Geno did much better this time around than the first game he played vs us. I don't think he's all that great yet but shyt hes a rookie. Gotta give him time to develop but hes got the potential to be really good.

I know what it means to throw a receiver open.

That's not what happened on the pick. THAT was a bad throw he should have never made.

No dog...receivers don't be open. He's throwing it to spots where receivers are supposed to win. He made two BIG throws like that where Nelson climbed the DBs back on a drive where we eventually scored and Kereley shielded that db between the ball using his body and converted a big third down. Alex Smith and EJ are too scared to make those throws. We lose the game today because of it. Wait until we get some receivers that can do that regularly.

I'll take the stupid decision but the intent behind them is what makes a difference between an average and good qb. :to:

Yo @R.E.N. Spells Ren

I wanted to show you why Nelson is at fault for that INT. He's a scrub.

Two plays before that int on a 16 yard completion he waits for the ball instead of attacking it.

Two plays later, he gets abused by a 5'10 db and gives up the inside he was supposed to go and then waits on the ball again.

Good decision.....bad receiver

You keep trying to convince me Nelson is a bad player....I don't disagree with that.

I'm talking about Geno's decision to throw the ball (inside no less) on THAT play. The INT had nothing to do with Nelson failing to come back to the ball...dude was beat, the ball should've never been thrown. By the time Nelson turns his head, the balls in the air and Ryan's

Nelson gave up on that play, clearly.

Dude isn't a good receiver man. Plays smaller than his size.
