A random thought, but it’s on my mind.
Mainly within the community. I’m tired of it. People calling things #BlackExcellence when it’s not
-Oh, you didn’t how to Howard, Spelman or morehouse? How unfortunate
-You aren’t affiliated with any Greek organizations?
-What do you mean you don’t like brunch
-Speaking out against prejudice/racism on the job? Why rock the boat, they pay us well
-It’s not anything wrong with them..it’s just that we don’t associate with people of that “quality”
I know of people like that In my line of work. It’s corny all around. Not everyone comes from money
