Because most of us don't care, or are just plain ignorant. shyt our government created a fukking building detailing all the shyt they've done(The Archives), and most people in this area will never step foot in it, or have any interest off stepping foot in it.
The shyt that has been done, and continue to be done is so blatant, but "they" know, we don't give a fukk, long as we have our new phones, Pads, cars, clothes, etc.

I think a better question is what would be the reason for all of this?
mass killings, controlling everyone in a 'zombie' like state? what for?
They already have money & power (if that's what they are after) so other than just being pure evil I don't see any motivation for their existence.

If you're that smart and powerful I doubt you would care about what people think. When you have an ant farm - do you care if the ants know you're their owner? Also, what would be the purpose of them "controlling" people? The money? They presumably have it all. The power? Obviously have it. What's the point of shooting up a school? What's the point of drawing a triangle on a dollar bill? Why would Lady Gaga and Jay-Z be of any importance to them, and if they are, how exactly could they help them?

Let's assume that what you're saying is true, people still don't know who they are. If they came out on some "I am your king - bow to me shyt", then okay. But if one of these "illuminati" walked through your local mall tomorrow, who would recognize them? Nobody, that's who, because there is no face to this "organization".
