VT: 9/29 for 219 yards 1 TD 3 INTs

LOSS

Penn State: 12/19 74 yards 1 TD 2 INTs

NEAR LOSS

So what we have here is JT playing two subpar games against physical front 7s. One game ended in a loss, the other was near loss.

Yet Cardale hasn't been allowed to play half as bad as this guy did last year with even more weapons.

There is no way JT beats Alabama last year and I have serious doubts he beats Oregon.

Good teams will stack the box against the Buckeyes. Funny how Urban didn't start JT against Penn State but chose to make the move for Rutgers of all teams.

Hilarious.

If y'all can't see what's going on here then I don't know what to tell you.

but wait, they're both black...

:jbhmm:
Who said its about race?

The fact is the scale is not balanced with how each QB is handled. This season has been about more Barrett than Cardale from the get go. They never adapted the offense to suit Cardale's strengths even though that's what they did when he won them the championship.

The offense is schemed to compliment Barrett... period.

Let's see how Barrett would do if the team asked him to throw 30 yard post outs against cover 2 zones :mjlol:

You cherry picking on this one man. I get the point you trying to make but its half glass full. V Tech game we all know them boys wasn't ready. Penn St game, JT had them up 21-7 at halftime. He sprained his knee 3rd qrt and shouldn't have played the rest of the game. He struggled till OT, when he literally won the game. Lets fast forward to the very next week when JT faced the best defense that OSU played to that point of the season and really the only game that mattered as far as OSU making the playoffs which was Michigan St on the road. JT went 16-26 for 300yrds, 3td and 0 picks. He rushed 14 times for 86 yrds and 2tds. Lets fast forward to this year. Cardale struggles aren't solely on Cardale. Again OSU only has 1 true wr and no deep threat. The personnel that the team has is suited for JT and the read option. They took the read option completely out with Cardale running the show cause thats not his strength. So its much more than JT played bad a couple games last year but got to keep his job and Cardale didn't this year. Its really more about the personnel at wr we have or don't have this year. Like @Buckeye Fever said its the right call for now.

They don't have the deep threats that they did last year. This has been pointed out to you many times by OSU fans. Listen to people that know more than you.

The offense is "schemed" to suit MEYER. That's been his style and every QB who has played or will play for him knows this.

Here we go.

Please don't inundate us with threads like you do for Manziel and Wiggins.

He's a Buckeye. Urban is a much better evaluator of talent and what it takes to win than you or I. I felt Dale deserved the chance to start. He hasn't been horrible, but he hasn't lit the world on fire either. We're primed to go undefeated regardless of whether it's Joseph Thomas or Dale starting given the talent on this team.

I think urban is going to run the football more with this move. Up until last game he has been "saving" zeke as far as number of carries. Now with JT they will pound that rock as effective as @Buckeye Fever pounds Mrs fever every night
