I'd like to quote something from this skrrimpture right c'here

"Seems like most nikkas can't handle his type of criticism so they rather go to the white man who will rape them behind their back but greet them with a smile and advance money," - Don Jesus

:wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow: Many levels to this comment brehs

The dude who's on your ass is the one who cares about you

The one who's hyping up your every move acting like you're the shyt is the one who's calculating your downfall

I don't know how I missed it the first time, but did yall hear him admit that they took the loss to Nas and that Nas really destroyed Rocafella and he was the beginning of the end for them? I mean, we know Nas did Jay-z dirty on some rap shyt, but few people acknowledge that Ether kinda fukked up their whole shyt over there like that. Nas is the f'n best rapper ever man,, damn.

When I originally watched this interview I thought Dame was being an a$$hole. After further assessment I've come to realize that he was speaking the 100% unfiltered truth and his harsh words came from a good place.

Dame and Suge Knight are two people who have always been about ownership and not kissing up to the white bosses, they wanted to be the bosses. It's not a coincidence that they are also the two most notorious CEOs in hip hop history; one for his erratic behavior and one for his violence....Both also have been blackballed....sure Suge was a moron/bully but besides his violent antics..him and Dame represented what is most needed in the urban African American community...ownership and power...Which is what he was trying to explain in this interview..he just worded a lot of his points from a perspective of irritation which makes it easier to make fun of...then again...if he said all his jewels in a calm tone without all the emotional antics..the interview wouldn't have been as interesting and it wouldn't be talked about...people didn't watch it to be educated..they watched it to be entertained..

Him chewing Envy looks like some a$$hole shyt at first but let's not act like Envy is just a tool for the high powers that be..a tool with no backbone who doesn't have a say in anything...he's no Star...he's not even Charlagmagne...who is a tool also..but at least sparks controversy with his "unpopular opinions".

Dame was right. All they do is gossip about bullshyt all day and play garbage music in between the gossip. they might be the most popular station right now... But they're still a tool.. Envy won't try to build something bigger...or go back and rewrite his blueprint..he's content being some radio host tool that gets his check spoon fed by the white man

And it's pathetic. Not saying people shouldn't get paid...but don't be content in that position for years. 10 years later envy will probably be in the same position doing the same shyt

Dame spit real facts but everyone was too busy making jokes to listen. Especially African Americans. Which is really annoying because the last thing we should be doing right now is being content as a customer and not bothering to achieve ownership

I don't know if this is a fact, but from what I understand it seems like Dame is an a$$hole because he cares and he just wants to see his nikkas win without the help or hand of the white powers that be in the business. Seems like most nikkas can't handle his type of criticism so they rather go to the white man who will rape them behind their back but greet them with a smile and advance money, because "oh he's nice to me while dame's an a$$hole"

You can't say all of that. Envy obviously loves what he does...everything that he does, from being a radio personality, DJing, his real estate. He seems happy with his life, endeavors and position. Even in that interview, nothing Dame was saying was getting to him. Dame didn't seem to have a passion, outside of the music business, and that was taking from him because, not only did he not cultivate relationships (#1 of business), but he seemingly brought nothing of value to the table that would force people to put up with his antics. Now he keeps clutching at straws with different business, throwing everything out there, seeing what sticks, and being miserable in the process. Anyone that puts another man down to prop himself up is one that is miserable with himself. A man content or comfortable in his position, and happy in life trumps a wealthy man everyday.

Dames point to Envy was "if you love djing, why not build your own platform to dj from, where you can play whatever song you want, talk about whatever you want, and invite whichever guests you want?". His point was that the corporation behind them doesn't bring much value at this point. They have the fame, they have relationshops, they can easily huy the equipment and do everything online or with a dsp. He was trying to tell them in a harsh way that they have power and could build way more wealth while still doing what they love to do.
