I been saying that Nas and Ghost are the two greatest MCs to ever walk Earth. No disrespect to the other greats.
This dude Ghostface was given 2 full, fleshed out story scripts and created lyrics...in a FEW WEEKS for each...that was the centerpiece of two critically acclaimed albums. This during non-stop touring and working on side projects , and group and collab albums. 12 reasons was some lil side gig favor he committed to and from what I gather, so was 36 Seasons. Who else is doing that in hip hop? Dude really is a hip hop virtuoso.

I really fvcking hope so. I've been jones-ing for some new Nasir for months now.
This is true, but what is really crazy is that if things go as planned Ghost may have his craziest year yet. Sour Soul with BADBADNOTGOOD and the next Wu-Block is coming in February. His album with Doom is finally supposed to come out. 12 Reasons to Die 2 is almost assuredly coming out in '15. And what we finally been waiting for....Supreme Clientele 2! Plus he working on Cuban Linx 3 with Rae. And we all know ALL THOSE projects are gonna at least be good (most likely great). All that and he just dropped one of the best albums of 2014 and had some dope verses on the new Wu album. Who else is doing this in hip hop? I'll wait.

neither are what they were in the 90's of course. but i will say nas has been the better between the 2 mcs, always has been too
ghost been on cruise control for a long ass time now. this ain't to say his music has been "horrible" because it hasn't been in comparison to all the other bullshyt that's out but when you hold it up to what ghost is capable of it's rather flat imo. meanwhile nas is still "spittin' hot fiyah" and remains on top of his game as an mc and lyricist. nas' beat selection may not always be up to par but i'll be damn if he don't almost always show and prove whenever he picks up the mic and spits
