Let's say Biggie & Puff KNEW Pac was about to get shot in NY, were they obligated to tell him?

All we know is that Big and Pac were "homies" at one point. I mean, we don't know how deep it went. Still sad seeing video of them rapping together and now being gone...BUT, who knows how close they really were beyond an industry thing.

So let's say they weren't so close and Biggie/Puff had NO knowledge of Pac's doings or wrongdoings or IF in fact he did cross someone. And then say whoever had beef with him informed a small circle of ppl including Puff/Big that something was about to go down, they were about to shoot 2Pac at that studio.

If Biggie/Puff then went and alerted Pac, well now they f'd up the hit. So now they'd be in deep trouble behind an incident that they didn't even know the root cause of. In a situation like that, sometimes you have to keep your nose outta other ppls business b/c you don't know the details. Sometimes you can find out something that you wish you didn't know about.

I know most of us think like Pac, if they did know, they should've told him.

Is perhaps the superficial relationship you once had with someone worth getting YOURSELF and your family in a life/death situation b/c you stuck your nose in business you knew nothing about?
