we know he couldn't do it in Houston, with a fat undersized Barkley and an aging Olajuwon

we know he couldn't do it in Portland, because that team had no disicpline

we know he couldn't do it without Mike in Chicago

so where is he at??

What do you consider "do it"? Scottie Pippen did his THANG in 1994 and in 1995 up until Jordan returned....even finishing 3rd in the MVP race in 1994.

In Houston, they just didnt mesh well. He played awful in the playoffs that year, as well as The Dream, and it was a blatant case of too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. Pip WANTED to prove badly that he could win a title without MJ and didnt wanna play the "sidekick" (or 3rd wheel) role in Houston (think Kobe's mindset from 2004-2009).

He stayed there for only that 1 season, but I believe Dream, Chuck, and Pip wouldnt have never figured it out at that particular stage of their respective careers.

In Portland, it wasnt because the team had no discipline, it was because they couldnt stop Shaq & Kobe. The Blazers lost to the Lakers in the playoffs in 2000, 2001, and 2002.....3 of Pip's 4 years in Portland. The Lakers were also NBA Champions those years as well, so you cant hold that against him/Blazers.

Scottie Pippen is a top 5 SF since the NBA-ABA Merger (LeBron, Bird, Durant, Erving, Pippen) and should be respected as such.

In houston scottie, charles, and dream were all flabby n sick They get a pass

Portland had a bunch of dum nikkas and scottie was fried.

He had 1 and 1/2 year in chiago to win and they were a hugh hollins foul away from destroying the pacers in the ECF before losing to houston in 7 games in the finals.
