what industry? im doing one for an investment mgmt firms' fund services subsidiary. 3 months into it
A nikka fukked around and got an internship,
And Im not even in college yet
Any advice? Anybody ever have an internship before? Interesting stories?
Speak on it and give a youngin some advice.
Every internship I've had was BORING AS fukk. They didn't really have enough for me to do, so I just tagged along at various points in between doing mindless tasks. But they paid significantly better than any other near min wage job I could've got, plus stable hours that didn't integer with my social life (business hours) plus it looks great on a resume, so I didn't complain.
My best advice: don't settle for what I described. Make sure you're getting something, professionally, out of the the job (outside of the resume entry). If you're left without abutting to do, make sure your supervisor knows and knows often until they change.
stories). But like homie said, it looked great on my resume, and the guy who ran the place actually went to the college I wanted to go to, so he reached out to somebody he knew in the admissions office and told them to be on the lookout for my application
yea, making about 35 K a year. 40 hours a week.
Now when you say Real Estate, thats a broad term to a nikka. You working for a REIT? You working for an asset manager? A realtor? The loan division of a bank?
Lol excuse my inquisitiveness, i just like hearing about internships and shyt especially in the field of finance. We all gotta prosper my nikkas.
