Lets talk about being in the industry and being Real, when it's necessary...

Now, I had a talk with Cole james about keeping quiet about certain artist we don't like in keeping control of not burning any bridges and I partially agree with that because at the same time, you don't want to burn any connections they might have that might be beneficial to you in the future, but heres my question, Do you guys agree with this or do you respect more artist like DMX or Styles P, who keep it real and don't care what bridges they burn and speak on how they feel about artist in the industry?? Is there a benefit of not saying anything at all or does that make you feel like you're just not being yourself because you're keeping quiet about it? What do you guys think?

As an exec once told me.

"You can't go into a real business and keep it real street. It will end real bad and you'll end up looking real stupid"

hence all the rappers being hustled cause they were too lazy to read a book on how the industry works or the fine print of their contract. The lox kept it "real" and it had them on the radio crying about they can't afford to do anything. Saying what you feel doesn't make you real, handling your business does. The industry is full of followers of the hot hand anyway.

Sometimes you got to put your real feelings to the side and just deal with shxt.Kind of like working at a job you hate.You can be real and tell the boss you hate him and get fired or you can keep that shxt to yourself and keep cashing them checks.
