Let's talk about Brock Lesnar brehs

I been wanting to make this thread for a minute now, noticing the backlash on Lesnar recently. So let me start off by saying this, when you have a guy like Brock Lesnar on the roster he's going to be booked as a monster, beast, what have you. So the WWE has succeeded some in that regard, having him demolish Cena at SS two years ago, beating HHH, beating the streak, etc. Brock Lesnar is supposed to be this kayfabe "god". Here's where it went wrong.


WWE have him face guys that are rising stars, your Dean Ambroses of the roster if you will. When all of that success comes that fast they have nowhere to go but for Brock to demolish the rising stars. If they would've held off on having him become world champ and become this unstoppable beast for a year or two, they could've built up a new guy or have someone they have faith in to end Brock's unstoppable reign. They know Brock is there for his check, and they scramble putting him in a matches with Dean at WM and with Orton at SS , which by the way should have not main evented your second biggest ppv of the year, atleast not in that way. Brock/Orton should have been for something like Backlash.


Fans chanted Goldberg tonight, because they got used to seeing Brock in big fight feel matches. This didn't feel like one. WWE booked themselves in a corner once again. Because now they booked Brock to be a god, and they don't have a star to dethrone him.

This absolutely felt like a big fight. The buildup was money and the fans wanted this match. You made that shyt up. The crowd was upset at the execution and the bad finish but they were fine until the ending. The crowd was into the match even.

Brock is booked like a kayfabe god as you said...he should ONLY have matches with the ortons of the world, royal rumble, SS, mania, or a title match...thats it. He shouldve been in the match with dean because NO WAY is he gonna job to him and understandably so.

The current roster the only people who should do more than take a serious L to brock are

• Cena
• HHH
• Orton
• Big Show (history and size)
• Reigns (history and kayfabe push)
• The Champions

Thats it. Everyone else shouldnt even be in a match with him. If they do, I have no problems with a complete squash.

Well that's kinda what I'm saying, but everyone on that list he's beaten so that's why we get these squashes. And I love Orton but in this day and age he isn't on a Cena or HHH level

What the WWE has did wrong is they allow him to use 10% of his talent and it may just be him being a lazy POS. He can actually wrestle and wrestle well. The first few times I was perfectly fine with "Brock squash match" but now it's just beyond tiresome and redundant. He only wrestles what 6 times a year and for what to do the same thing with the same wrestlers (Taker? Show?). His whole aura isnt what it was since about 2014 to me

I really loss any care I had for Lesnar after the 2015 Taker stuff

Yeah they booked themselves into a corner with Brock. He's so much of a special attraction and so highly paid they can't have him go out there being beat by anybody like everybody else. So until they do choose who's gonna beat him he's just gonna have to keep beating everybody on their roster.

This wouldn't have been a problem if they booked Roman properly or chosen somebody else though. Even though Roman will still probably be the one to beat him.

If they had any sense..they would build Cesaro towards a match with him and do it the right way. Have him kind of outmuscle and dominate Lesnar until they do the match and then you could have Lesnar reaffirm what was given to him at WM XXX and retain his aura. Common sense shyt.

This was the breaking point for a lot of of you about the part-timers never putting the current roster over? It's been like this for years with Brock, Undertaker and The Rock. It happened at WM with Austin, HBK and Foley. Either way, it's about time that everyone is coming around to it.
