First things first what do think a nice down payment would be? Lets say percentage wise. Obviously property values are different around the country.

Lets also talk best places to live that are also not a disaster (i.e. you are paying out the ass for taxes, etc)

I am not buying a house yet but I will eventually sell the one I inherited and I wouldn't be opposed to living in a different location either.

listening :wow:
I want to buy a house but I'm too much of a wanderlust and have house-commitment phobia :sadcam:
I think it's because when I was younger my fam moved all the time so I'm use to moving every three years or so

I would rather do real estate investing (fix and flip)
I feel like I'm missing out from being a homeowner tho

I'm sure as fukk not going to rush it. I want to start thinking about the process though. It's a big decision and I don't want to be thinking a year down the road what the fukk I get into. I know this dude who bought a house two years ago but he obviously didn't have any understanding of all the side costs and upkeep because now he's having a really tough time affording it. I don't envy him at all. Gotta be smart about this.
