Lets talk about forgiveness shall we

How important is it to you?

Have you forgiven all wrongs done to you?

Are you the kind of mfer that holds grudges? Somebody did some fukked up shyt and it happened YEARS ago , they apologized (or not) and you still holding on to it like "you better stay the fukk away from me!"

Does not forgiving them slowly eats away at you when you think about it, or have you buried it so deep it has no effect at all?

Have you been forgiven for the fukked shyt you did to someone? Do you care if they've forgiven you?

I like holding grudges myself, some shyt ain worth forgiving. But I'd be lyin if I said it didn't eat at me a little....anger is never a good thing

I'll admit i'm not really a forgiving person. I hold grudges like a muthafukka. But by the time i'm not mad about whatever it is anymore, i'm so used to those people being out of my life it's like why bring them back in? people say the past is the past which is true, but if you're in my past, it's a reason why you are there so that's exactly where you are going to stay. The past made you who you are today right?

I also think that just b/c you aren't necessarily mad about something that happened, doesn't mean you have to invite that person back in your life. Basically you stay in your lane, i'll stay in mines. I just don't think you can do some fukked up shyt to somebody (especially someone you claim you care about), then expect things to be all cool and shyt. Which is exactly why i always think before i speak and act because once you say or do certain things, you can never take them back. I'm not trying to sound like the perfect person, but i honestly don't think i have said or done anything that harsh that people need to forgive me for. It's just not in my nature to hurt other people like that (unless i don't give a fukk about you, that's a different story)

I also agree that some shyt ain't worth forgiving. For instance, i will never have a relationship with my dad. He's been in and outta jail my entire life. So i pretty much resented him for that. But the times he's been out, i literally had to grow up watching him physically, and emotionally abuse my mother. For all the shyt he's put her through and watching how he treated her, nah i have no wrap for that nikka at all.

I think forgiving somebody and deciding not to fukk wit em no more are too different things. Also like my man said resentment plays a huge role in it.

Like if someone robs you (steals your shyt not at gunpoint) and you've decided to forgive them for it, doesn't mean you'll ever invite them over again or be cool with hangin out with em it just means you ain mad about it no more and as far as your concerned they're still cool ppl. But if you still holding a grudge or still mad about it you ain forgave shyt and as far as your concerned they can eat a dikk wether they apologized or not.

When I think about the grudges I hold against certain mfers I flip the shyt back on myself. I've done some fukked up shyt to ppl in my life....really fukked up shyt. I honestly want them to forgive me for it. And even tho it's selfish on my part but to me them forgiving me helps me forgive myself for it... If that makes sense
