I remember when Ante it Up first drop and the sh*t started blowing up. I was thinking finally these guys were gonna go plat. It's crazy how during that time period this song use to have clubs, parties, and even the b*tches going wild. I I picked this album up the day it dropped and I wasn't dissapointed. They kept it hardcore throughout this shyt. Billy Danze's opening verse off Face Off was one of the best/intensified verses of that year:

My other favorite jawn:

Ante up and cold as ice are the only tracks I remember off this album... I remember buying the bootleg on 125th back in the day and just never bumping it like that... I'll refresh my memory once this dre album goes off

Straight up and down banger.

When I was in high school we used to call it the "G Building", so when we first heard that cut
that was like, the unofficial anthem.

Favorite cuts are that, The Title track, and "Calm Down", "Nig-gotiate", "On The Front Line" and "Power".

This is one of the albums I have used to convert people to rap.

I can't blame you.. There was TONS of sh*t coming out during that period. Prodigy dropped HNIC, Jay dropped his Dynasty album, Face dropped Last of Dying Breed, Foxxx dropped Industry Shakedown. Lyricist Lounge 2 compllation It was a great time to be a fan of this

My favorite song is 'foundation'. I didn't think it was as good as First Family 4 Life but it's still very good. Product G&B did their best to try and ruin that Preemo banger though.

MOP used to drop every 2 years.....But then after Warriorz they just fell off. The signing to the Roc hype and the signing to G Unit hype didnt help either.

Man, you talk about Danze's verse on Face Off being one of the best of that year, but I'd say it's one of the hardest verses of all time. Definitely an amazing album. Personal classic and most people would probably say it's their best album, right? I always go between this a FF4L. Warriroz is probably my favorite.
