I'm assuming it mainly of of Shows and touring.

But its a good question, especially with mixtapes having all original beats and having major features, artwork all for mixtape that you will be giving away for free.

I just don't see the benefits of making the a mixtape the same way you do an album and not charging for it. I know its to get a "buzz" but from a money aspect it kinda seems like a loss unless you are a top artist on a top label

I remember at SOHH someone said Cappadonna worked as a taxi driver and some other big name rapper worked at Fedex.

I've wondered myself how some of these guys survive.
