and how the studio did him dirty.

Terrence speaks....

"[I was paid] about $4.5 million [for the first film],” said Howard. “The second time, [the studio] said ‘We think the movie will be successful with or without you. So, instead of the $8 million that we said we were gonna pay you, we’re going to let you come back for a million dollars.’ We did a three-picture deal already, [but] I forgot, I didn’t know it wasn’t a mutually binding contract; it was only beneficial for them and they could bring me back or not. They can honor it or not.”

"I love the fact that Iron Man put me on a world stage and tested my strength of character. Because I chose not to fight back, not to deal with the allegations, but to continue forward and do what I had to do. I had to start all over: went from making $6 million a movie, back to $60 thousand a movie. But as long as you don’t give up you are able… I’ll make $20 million soon. Because I have learned the lessons of yesterday."

He said it almost killed his career. I happen to like T. Howard in that role better than Cheadle. Thoughts?

He said his agent actually pushed for him to be in Iron Man, so that tells me that T. Howard wasn't 100% with it, but that payday of 4.5 million :whoo: for him couldn't be turned down. I agree his agent was probably shyt.

yea he was better in that role than Cheadle but he fukked up though by rejecting the studio's deal.THey had all the leverage:manny:

thats why i dont fault niccas like tucker, w. smith, cruise and them demanding a gang of money from the studios because if they can fukk you over, they will.

Marvel's greed knows no boundaries. In what world do they think paying an actor less to return for the sequel to a hit movie is a fair deal? Of course, after the news that half the Avengers cast were offered shytty deals despite making a $2 billion movie, what else is new?

This unfair practice by Marvel is :mindblown: Don't they know that keeping with the continuity with the cast is vital to the ticket buyers. Ed Norton not being Hulk is :snoop:

thats 5.5mill for 2 movies... that aint bad... he got overpaid for the first one....

the avengers actors aint even get that much :mjpls:

He got paid more than Robert Downey in the first Iron Man. Who knew Marvel was just setting it up to lowball all talent. Had to be T. Howard first :to:
