I'm not really the one to ask. What gets moved in and out of this forum is left up to the discretion of the mods. Same as the other subforums. The only input Brooklynzson or I have really had was suggesting to not move race threads unless it's obviously a troll thread or the thread turns into nothing but personal attacks. If people that post in this forum feel differently then they should speak up but in general race threads get the most complaints, which is what the mods respond to.But like I said you should @ the mods and have a discussion with them because we've asked them to determine which direction this forum goes in.

@concise is now a mod here so be sure to include him if you feel like addressing this stuff with the staff

I'm speaking for reference. I'm not even sure who all the moderators of the forum are and I damn sure wouldn't want to be PMing all of them when only one of them probably knows the answer to my question. Im sure the moderators not involved wouldn't want to be flooded with PM's either.

what do you see it as representing?

I think it represents a "hushing" of talking about certain cultural issues. I think it's anti-conversational and that on a forum with so many black members (relative to other websites) that it's a little disappointing.

Of course, I'm not bothered by the "shytting on black women" threads being censored out.
