Lets Talk About the Gap In Skills Between Jada/Styles & Sheek Louch

I remember in real time back in the day I thought Sheek was waaaaaay behind Jada & Styles in terms of skill, but in hindsight the gap isn't that wide at all


Matter fact when it comes to energy and flows, Sheek surpasses both. I liked Jada and Styles because their flows were more sharp and they both rhymed better as far as multi-syllables, but honestly 20 years later those same flows are boring and predictable.

I can listen to an old Sheek Louch verse and it'll sound fresh compared to the stale flow of Jada and Styles. Sheek's flow is more "fluid" and is aging better imo.

Real talk, when the Lox first came out Sheek caught my attention the most! I thought Styles was trash back then, Kiss was aight.

It's all preference I suppose, personally I like Styles best out of the group but I don't think the skill level is so drastically different between any of them.

Skill level is very different between Styles/Kiss and Sheek. But Sheek’s energy/comedy makes up for it. In the beginning tho. Sheek was like the leader of the group ironically. But when they went the D Block route Styles and Kiss were clearly better lyricists. It isnt even really debatable.

When the Lox came out, everybody thought Sheek was the one.
He's like the Pimp C/Daz of the group - the showman/flourish of the group, where the others are the rapping monsters.

Back when they started Sheek got a lot of the attention, Styles and Kiss started getting more attention around 1998-2000.

I still like sheek more than Jada, but that's just me. Styles>Sheek>Jada
