Back when they started Sheek got a lot of the attention, Styles and Kiss started getting more attention around 1998-2000.

I would say around 99’. Maybe LATE 98.

Way partial to Jada and Styles, Sheek's style is a little looser and a lot more tongue in cheek at times than Jada and Styles have ever been. I got his 2008 album, and his debut, and he has legendary verses throughout his career.

His style was way more hype than Kiss and SP too. His lines were more straight and direct. I think "Money Power & Respect", one of my first intros the Lox, was when I had Kiss. "And they say my money spent/but it's in the vent/so when the feds come the dogs can't get a scent" that was sooo dope to me at age 13.

But that pitbull line from the song...that was crazy to me at that time, I think I said that to someone in middle school, like some locker room, pushing someone over the bench shyt.

Sheek was the leader in the Bad Boy era. His style just fit what they were doing at the time. But lyrically. Jada and Styles were always superior and they kept getting better lyrically while he regressed. When the late 90s/early 2000s hit they were clearly better emcees. Sheek was still dope tho and he had better albums than Jada.
