Let's talk about the increase of follower "culture" and the lack of critical thinking/individualism

Especially in the generation y, generation z bracket

Anybody notice how folks literally are trying to be more of a label or be identified with a group instead of just being an individual that happens to be this, that and the fifth.

Even thinking wise, it ain't the norm to critically think where at times its folks on some monkey see, monkey do shyt. They see eight people saying or doing something so they gotta be the ninth to say and do the same thing. None of them are asking why or can even explain why they are saying or doing that shyt. Not even researching why to make sure they are doing the right thing.

Blame the internet and social media. That fear of missing out and not wanting to look like a lame for not being in the know is real. They just accelerate the process.

Group think and tribalism has always been a thing.

Sadly it's human nature. People feel vulnerable physically and psychologicaly when they are apart from the pack.

You see it in nature politics sports religion and on the Coli.

Happens everywhere. But social media is the worst for it.

Very rare these days to have true open conversations with people where you can agree to disagree.
