To many other things to be concerned about. Like overrepresentation in AIDS drug commercials. Now that's some bullshyt.
Not understand marketing and demographics brehs. Most Americans are overweight, that includes black women. Guess who is among the top spenders in America? Now guess what time of year it is? Who is working out right now? These answers all play in to why this commercial was produced.

It's not that deep, but it is so systematic that it might as well save the same purpose.
This. Plus big corporations have goals around diversity & inclusion in their campaigns. The lazy way out can sometimes be "make the casting call that most insulates us from any kind of 'ism if people start talking on twitter." And voila.
Black people (women specifically) set the tone for mainstream social media trends in the US, and it's not the slim ones usually goin off & trending.
