very nice car. not sure why everybody brings up how weak a is250 is. there's a reason they make the is350. just like every car manufacturer makes models with different engine options; so they can sell it cheaper and not everybody cares about having 300+HP in their whip.

Always been a fan of convertibles ever since I was young.......

:salute:, this right here. I drove the IS250C for a few days, it's plenty to get me around, like I said I have a sportbike for speed, just looking for comfort and luxury at a decent price, I still may go after the Acura TL Type-S.

I have a 2014 Acura TL, and that car is absolutely lovely. I suggest you give that particular model a test drive, as its an old body style and will likely be heavily discounted. Great price for such a nice luxury car. The lexus IS250 is a very nice car as well, but you will pay a premium for the Lexus name. The premium is usually worth it though as Lexus cars are solid as fukk.

:salute: good to hear from a TL owner. The Acura was the 1st car I looked at earlier this year, I've had mostly Honda's since I was 18. I will have to check the maintenance costs for the older TL's. I checked for the Lexus, insurance is pretty inexpensive and maintenance costs isn't too bad.

I'm seriously thinking of getting a 2014 or a 2013 instead of a tundra, I really don't need a trick

What? totally not true

At my credit union car loans were capped off on cars older than 5 years.

If you had a 6+ year old car you'd have to go the personal loan route which were much tougher to get and usually capped at $5k because no collateral.

I guess it doesn't matter because I'm not getting anything older than a 2013 and leaning more towards a 2014
