And it was easy to "sell" that lie because Saddam was bragging about starting up another WMD program in the early 90s.

Its easy to sell lies when some parts of that lie are more easily accepted.

anyone paying attention knew the entire wmd "justification" for regime change in iraq was a hoax. cheney, rumsfeld, bush, rice punked the entire world into that one. straight up fabricated evidence to scare congress into voting for war on the heels of 9/11.

and i hate it the breh colin powell got duped into backing their case for war. damaged his legacy along with any appetite he had for being the potus. i would have voted for him without hesitation. could have been best ever.
