You ever hear what supposedly happened to 44 thousand ppl in Japan after the 1923 earthquake? They got consumed by a 300 ft wall of fire and vanished in an instant. When fire appears in nature like this it's always bad. Fire is unpredictable and on big scales it's actual hell.

I think it's still considered one of the if not THE single largest life loss so quickly ever recorded.

ya man...a lot of ppl died in cali when they had them fires cuz they underestimated how fast that shyt would move...I remember reading about one woman who wanted to put on her makeup before she evacuated her house as her neighbor tried to get her to leave as the fire was approaching...she ended up dying

same with the firefighters that airdropped into the fire and was eventually surrounded and died.

I can only imagine that convo....

She was elderly and had dementia and her disabled son (that died with her) was an amputee who couldn't exactly pick her up, throw her in the car and drive away. People with Alzheimer's/dementia are aggressive and stubborn. Her brain was probably stuck in 1948 when she was young and convinced her that leaving the house without makeup was a fate worse than death .

It's really shytty too because her and the son made it out of the house and into the car but got caught on the road trying to get out and burned to death. I hate I ever saw that video.
