:blessed:nothing better than sitting in the backyard, sipping on something, music on low, listening to the sounds of the hood, kids laughing and playing, music rumbling the block, them last strays of fireworks going off. I ain't got much, but I'll be damned if I ain't living good.

I felt this post breh. And I remember vividly the whole fear of missing out thing when I was younger, now I enjoy sitting listening to the sounds of people partying, kids playing outside and all that, just as the picture you painted. Especially after covid put people indoors for two years. I ain't there fully yet and maybe never will, but to be completely content must be a wonderful thing

Of course it can be debilitating at times but I have to force myself to exercise because it’s the best way for me to not feel depressed.

You have to fight those lazy depressed urges. The hardest part is getting up and going. You have to be strong. Change your mindset.

It’s an ad but I love this here:

I know and salute to you, but yeah some people just can't break the cycle

Like I say you got everything to help your mental state in arms reach of you at all times.. But to some it might as well be miles away

One of lifes great ironies

I remember having agoraphobia after a period of drug abuse, fearing leaving the house.. fukkin crazy. If that's what seriously depressed people are like everyday..heart goes out man. Like at least I knew mine had a cause so I could rationalise it

Yeah it took me a while as well. Lexapro and all that. I had to quit drinking and smoking. Quit fast food. It’s rough as hell.

If everyone count them blessings one by one like you just did, everyone would be living good.
