You have far more control over your life than you think.

That's because people aren't created to live for self. Why do you think parents are filled with joy watching their kids grow? Why do you think we were put on this earth together? Humans are made for each other. You weren't created for you, but for the world. Thats why when humans discover their individual gifts, they share it. In return, other humans reward them for it via acknowledgment, praise, money, respect. Giving these things to yourself is not fulfilling because you weren't created for self.

You guys are young and probably will argue this so I'll just encourage you to try living for others through service for a short while (maybe a week) and see how you feel. Give knowledge, time, physical help, money, encouragement, whatever you can and I promise you're perspective will change. People think the payback of service and good deeds are tangible, like their physical circumstances should be altered, but really its the mental that changes which in turn can change everything.

This I had to learn the hard way, but trust me I have a beautiful life now because of it.

This is true...

Sometimes I like to tell myself life is meaningless overall because it makes me feel better about being a loser but when I look at things realistically I can't deny the fact that a lot of other people in this world have a purpose, they have something that makes their lives worth while, and the fact is it isn't the world it's just me.

So after 22 years that's right over two decades of having no real purpose goal or motivation to become anything in life I'm finally ready to accept the fact that I may just be a loss cause. Doe anyone else feel this way? I just can't think of any reason to go on at this point, I've fukked up so many opportunities to make something of myself I just feel like a waste of space oxygen and food.

Jesus gives you your purpose, but the question is do you want that purpose or do you want a self glory purpose
