Lifehack: do not buy a refrigerator with an ice maker

I've never not had a refrigerator at any point in life that didn't have issues with the icemaker.

Instead get a regular fridge and just buy one of these counter top ice machines. You'll come out cheaper in the short, and the long run.

My refrigerator right now is Samsung. Ice maker all messed up. So I hwd to get counter top one

I can cosign this as well as their washing machines being trash.

Got a side open faced cabinet around the corner of my kitchen facing my pantry door. I can leave all the non essential appliances on there. Have the minaret look for my kitchen with uncluttered counters, and actually have the appliances out without the hassle of moving them. Just ran and mounted two heavy duty surge protectors to the top and bottom. Got a mixer, an ice machine and a coffee machine there. best of both worlds.

Terrible advice, stop buying cheap stuff, and get a warranty. Or a much better hack, buy whatever appliance from a costco, where the replacement process is very lenient.

My icemaker wouldnt stop makimg ice...contacted Smart rent and the guy fixed it in like 5 mins. I cant drink anything without ice.
