both arist have pumped out sum classics songs with these projects


i know we havnt had much time to digest MCHG but imo LIG is overall a better piece of work especially lyrically nas last solo + his duet album >>WTT MCHG barely tho but i think the higlites of WTT are on higher level than the best distant relatives has to offer


i could understand if you prefer WTT over distant relatives two completely bodies of work but its hard to say one is "better" than the other because there so different..

basically what it comes down to if your more into lyrical hip-hop or prefer the big song production/"stadium status" that are WTT/MCHG


either way two of the top MC's of all tim have blessed us with some heat!

Primetime was my favorite joint on WTT.

In all honesty, DR and LIG are not good albums to argue in Nas' favor. No one will speak about those in terms of his legacy. If cats are gonna compare Nas and Jay joints, they should compare their first 3 albums or something like that. Maybe the songs they've done with Primo or some shyt.

At least use Nas' more commendable work. DR's an album that had him playin' sidekick to Jr. Gong. LOL!! Horrible look for Nas.

Distant Relatives was a lil more cohesive and a LOT more lyrically dense than WTT. Nas and Damien really worked hard to make that album a true best of both worlds. Love that shyt...

LIG is a classic while MCHG is a dope album.
