Ok, so ive been a B fan for a while now. After listening to a good amount of his discography, and also just seeing how he moves and the things he says, its clear to me that B is actually a really, really wise dude. He is really random and switches his style a ton, which is a personality trait (one that i have), not a sign of trolling or just messing around. He has his lighthearted funny songs (which are genius in their own way), then he has his introspective tracks where he often drops really deep, truthful lines, like for instance he says "only be two things, thats good and bad". This is the theory behind duality, a force which controls the universe, and a very theoretical and complex idea. Most people dont really think of things this way, i mean we have all probably heard it before but thats because people learned it from others. B probably figured out duality himself (something i also did), which would indicate a high proficency for philosophical, metaphysical and existential thinking. This is also supported by many other examples of deep lines that B has dropped.
I think we often get caught up in B's flow or lyrics, and assume he is worthless because he is terrible in traditional hip hop standards. But if you take in every line he says, and look for the meaning not just the assortment of words or rhymes or whatever, you will find many things he says are really smart. This is why i think lots of non-hip hop fans like B, because they dont think of things in the context of hip hop, they just hear what he says and the music he makes.
