Yes you can. Freedom of speech does not apply to private businesses

Planet Fitness is a public company though

Bro, they are a private business

You sound like the mazi authoritarian

No its not.. its a publicly traded company, plus most gyms may have some different laws and regulations due to being ambassadors of the public (not quite schools or churches, but different rules than say a barbershop).

What’s wrong with planet fitness? :dwillhuh:

Ive been to a few.. the weights didnt go up that high, no sauna in any of the ones I been to, not many weights or machines for actual lifting... but had rows upon rows upon rows of treadmills

from what I personally saw its really just a started gym for people who just want to walk on the tread mill 30 minutes a day .. nothing real gym about it

Boosie should sue. This is a dumb reason to ban someone. It makes zero sense. Nothing he said was hateful.

I mean, I can't sue or anything.

I would publicly protest like boosie's doing it.

It's bullshyt but not illegal, is all I'm saying. shyt would immediately be thrown out of court

this wouldn't get thrown out in court.. Boosie technically didnt say anything homophobic..in which we have video evidence of. it would be on the planet fitness lawyers to prove boosie said something homophobic in which he didnt, he even said if the kid is gay let him be gay, he just said dont make no life altering choices for a 12 year old (which isnt homo or transphobic).

a real lawyer would eat this up and boosie would be coming home to a multi million dollar settlement.

Plus ive seen you mention planet fitness is a private company. It is not. You can buy into planet fitness as we speak. Its a public company. Plus gyms do have different laws and regulations than traditional businesses. Example, if someone walked in with a Confederate shirt on, a manager would have no clause to ban that person.

This is obvious bias from what boosie is claiming a gay manager, which as a manager or employee your views cannot represent an entire company views.

At the least the manager should be terminated and in a fair world, Planet Fitness would apologize to boosie even though im sure the alphabet gang would pressure them not to.

He should legitimately look into a lawyer for this.

I meant private property. Semantics anyways. Doesn't change my point. They're still free to refuse business as they see fit as long as it legal
Private property is any property owned by private persons and not by the government or reserved for public use. Private property includes buildings and real estate as well as objects and intellectual property. People who own property have the right to manage it and control it. A store, for example, is private property. Offering merchandise for sale implies an invitation to enter, but the store owner is entitled to ban someone from coming in. The person could be a suspected shoplifter or a troublemaker, or he can be banned for any reason, as long as it is not based on bias against a federally protected class of people.

The Legal Rights of a Business to Ban a Person From Their Property

Planet Fitness doesnt own that property  they lease it
