Reese was shot in the neck in Country Club Hills near Chicago. The shooting occurred Monday afternoon at the intersection of 167th Street and Pulaski Road.
Reports say someone in a gray hoodie and sweatpants exited a silver or white Malibu and shot Reese in his car with a small rifle before fleeing.
An unidentified person got Reese to the hospital.
Lil Reese is said to be fighting for his life after being shot in Chicago on Monday (Nov. 11).
The details are still scarce, but according to a reportthe rapper was shot in the neck and is being treated at a local hospital. Police have confirmed that a man was shot on 167th Street and Pulaski Road but didn't mention a name.
Police also said they're looking for a white or grey Chevy Malibu with Wisconsin plates. That vehicle is said to have chased the victim down and opened fire with a rifle.
The sad news comes just days after Reese dropped a music video for his cut "Get Back Mood Part 2." Hopefully he pulls through and makes a full recovery.
Lil Durk is optimistic, despite the talk Reese is in "grave" condition.
