No its not, you can have friends on teams you do not support, what Lil Wayne does is actively start supporting teams when they gain a modicum of success, thus making him BAND WAGONER and that's why people clown him.

No matter how you twist it a guy from New Orleans claiming Packers, Heat, Lakers, Bruins, Red Sox is suspect

The only real team for New Orleans is the Saints, hornets are kind of recent and have sucked more years than they been good. He has no choice but to root for other teams

Wayne has performed entrance walkouts for both Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather to the ring, that's more to me as a sports fan.


Yea he's bandwagon hopping but he does appear to be having fun in general.

he supports alot of teams just like yall do when yall on here rooting for teams to beat Miami, etc. If youre a fan of good basketball you cant help but develop a 'like' for certain teams and players. Ive seen a lot of newborn GS fans on here just in the last 2 weeks. bottom line is when a grouping of players start to play a brand of basketball you like, you become somewhat of a causal fan of that team rather you admit it or not. It happens every year, its not just unique to Wayne. Most fans of the good basketball are guilty of it aswell.

only difference is, we rooting for them on here whereas Wayne is actually going to the arena to watch them play. I see nothing wrong with it, and if I could afford to catch playoffs games in arenas across the US I would be all over it. That doesnt make me any less of a Lakers fan though, I just enjoy good basketball. Lol at a coli poster telling me I cant attend a NY Knick game cause Im a Lakers fan. lol at a coli poster telling me I cant party with the Knicks afterwards cause Im a Lakers fan. please. foh
