Rapper Lil Wayne postponed his Monday night concert in Toronto at the last minute due to “unforeseen illness.”

Large crowds sadly shuffled out of Budweiser Stage after the venue had announced the cancellation, two hours after it opened its doors.

“As his fans know, he loves putting on nothing short of the best performances for those who come out, and he was so excited for this one,” the concert venue said in a statement first shown at the concert then later posted to X just after 8 p.m.
