YOUNG MONEY'S FLOW BUSTED ON ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE

One of the up-and-coming rappers under Lil Wayne's wing was busted late last week, according to the St. Bernard Sheriffi's office. Flow, a local rapper who is signed to the Lil Wayne-run label, was arrested in Oakland, Calif., on an attempted murder charge he picked up in April after an alleged robbery in Chalmette.
Flow, whose real name is Widner DeGruy, allegedly shot at a man he knew on April 29, but missed. On the same night, he and two others robbed a man, taking cash and a cell phone. The 21-year-old fled New Orleans for California after an arrest warrant was issued, according to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's office.
The near-miss shooting resulted in the attempted murder charge, police said. Detectives are still trying to determine the identity of the other two people involved in the robbery.
U.S. Marshalls arrested Flow in Oakland, and he was sent back to Chalmette for prosecution. He was booked into St. Bernard Parish prison on June 27, and is being held on $350,000 bond.
Flow, who also goes by Esho Hero, signed to Young Money last year after a string of mixtapes and an appearance on Weezy's Sorry 4 The Wait mixtape. He is also a member of The Flamez, who have released several mixtapes.
Flow's last known address was in New Orleans East, according to police.
