Not really. Anything goes nowadays. Real fans will pre-order and support via vinyl and cds and merch.
It’s about making money at the end of the day.
And everyone will tune in a week entire once social media makes it go viral etc.

Guess it depends on the artist. Wayne does have a following so I can see him selling good. He’s gonna need a single or a couple of songs to get fans excited. He’s been gone for a long time.

He hasn't tho. He be dropping random stuff. He's just not in "the conversation" right now. But that really because he doesn't have to be.
I think he should drop a single maybe like a week before. He isn’t a commercial billboard artist anymore so I don’t think he should chase a big hit record but I would be happy to see him drop some singles with Drake and Nicki.
It would be dope to see him on top of the billboard one last time though. C5 did crazy numbers.
