Lil Yachty tries hot sauce for the first time at age 21

Kylie Jenner and Tom Brady are far from the only picky celebrity eaters out there.
Prior to filming his episode of First We Feast’s “Hot Ones,” Lil Yachty had never tried hot sauce. Clearly, the 21-year-old decided if he was going to jump into the spicy sauce pool, he might as well dive into the deep end by eating a series of increasingly hot chicken tenders coated in the condiment.
“I was always curious about, like, how does hot sauce work?” the rapper told host Sean Evans. “Growing up I used to wonder, ‘If I touched it, was it hot?’”
“I didn’t know if it was an on-tongue situation or in-the-throat situation, I just never knew,” he continued, after eating his third tender. “But I felt like the second I bit that some hell broke loose.”
The “Yacht Club” rapper, who claims to eat pizza every day, admitted he doesn’t eat many different types of food, but was impressed by some of the hot sauces he tried, even if they didn’t make him a convert.
“You ever seen a cartoon where you see the steam come out of their nose,” he said. “I feel it, you know? I feel it but it’s good. It’s really good. The craziest s–t is it’s such heat that I don’t taste anything but heat. But I still don’t think I’ll ever eat it again, but this s–t is good as f–k.”
While Yachty gave the challenge a good go, he wasn’t quite able to make it through the whole thing, bowing out after eight sauces.
“You gotta be f–ked up if you think I’m finishing,” the rapper joked between drinks from a water pitcher. “I am still trying to recover. How dare you.”
