Great, great project. I checked for his follow up . Even paid cash money for his debut retail. He just hasn't captured my attention the same way. It may be the Rashad on the production, but Stalley hasnt made a record as dope since.

Had to bump this thread. Randomly played 2 samples used on this album, back to back. Now I'm just shuffling thru it. Rashad laced him with the production on this, dope ass tape. Truth be told he was spittin better on the 2nd tape, Savage Journey, but this had better songs in general

Wow, haven’t seen that name in a minute

Man i have waves where certain rappers are my go-to’s. Currensy, smoke dza , Lloyd banks, Gibbs…and at one point Stalley. Hate to see how he kinda just disappeared. 2010-2015 he had a helluva run

I remember when this dropped as well, damn. that was 10+ years ago. played this from cover to cover countless times. The production is incredible and fit Stalley's style perfectly. Also loved the subject matter of the songs, just a brother from a blue collar city spitting about life. impeccable project. I thought Honest Cowboy was dope as well. Ohio was..aiiite. I definitely think signing with Ross was a misstep.

Yea that Nahright/2dopeboyz blog era of rap was special IMO. A lot of great projects that still sound amazing with a good amount of visuals, that dropped back then. Curren$y collab'd and birthed so many other rappers back then or at least gave them a look to where people wanted to hear more from them. Stalley grabbed my attention first when he was on Address with Curren$y.

Stalley had a lot of really dope projects that flew under the radar.

Dude should've got more love for his music back then. Always felt he needed better management.

I haven’t listened to any of his new projects since Ohio but I never thought he was that talented of a rapper. Management can only take you so far lol

Nah? This was my SH-T back in the day! He did a lot dope music with Ski.

I kinda stopped playing dude's music with Savage Journey in like 2012, but everything up to that point, I was into.
