Never understood why all these people waste their time and money running when they know they're not going to win

Free press.

I have no idea how many years Graham has left in the Senate, but essentially he was able to use this presidential campaign as a re-election tour. Not only that, but it helps rejuvenate the conservative movement by having so many voices and outlets campaigning year round.

You forget, when all these guys retire from politics, they just join a consulting firm, get paid for speeches, and do a bunch of book signings. They're eating.

I remember reading these campaigns often leave many in debt, sometimes including the candidates, though they are rarely the person left holding the bag....

Funny to think that Graham got into this race almost specifically to counter the soft shell non interventionism of Rand Paul.

I'm very proud that everyone who has come out against me has gone down. He should have dropped out months ago. There are a dozen or so candidates that have no business running.

Good for him. He can spend that time with his bachelor friends.
