:merchant: You're down in your stance waiting to hike the ball and looking straight into the eyes of a controlled mad man with damn near superhuman strength. It's gonna take you and a teammate to get the job done, b/c by yourself you're lunchmeat and even with both of you, he's still probably gonna disrupt your point of attack.

If you're a starting Lineman in the NFL, offensive or defensive, chances are you ain't scared of or intimidated by anyone who lines up across from you. Wary of their skills? Yes. Scared? Uh-uh.

Everyones not the same.

This isn't about "skills" like lining up against a WR, as much as it is about brute power and a dude who's going to beat you up the entire game

There's still skills involved in playing o-line, as well as a LOT of decision making. If it ain't some big bull like Suh or Wilfork you're lining up against, it's some shifty Julius Peppers ass nikka with way too much quickness for his size. You think you're :merchant: when you got Suh in your face all game? Nah, you get used to that. shyt, you probably saw the same shaped guy 2 wks ago with way better moves and exprerience, so you are adjusting your technique for that.

Well, you'll be:merchant::ohmy::merchant: when a quick d-lineman is straight ghost on you after your second step on a slick stunt or a swim/rip across your face, already flexin on your runningback who's sprawled out on the ground.

It ain't always a cloud of dust, brehs. Playing o-line is a mindgame where you gotta keep your hands up and your footwork on point while knowing what's coming at your gap and what's vacating yours.

Yeah Suh is strong like a damn Ox. But teams know how to double team and chip him. I ain't sayin its easy, but coaches plan and develop a scheme to stop and or disrupt him.

Yeah 1 on 1's with Suh are probably a nightmare :merchant: But I bet O lines try their best to limit the times he has a 1 on 1 matchup.

But on another note, That Jets entire D line is a fukkin problem :whew: And also when Ommy Kelley and Wilfork were both healthy, I know they had o-lines shook and outmatched
