don’t matter if I choose Ubuntu, Debian, etc.

I can run Windows 11 on the shyt though

Why not use KVM (libvirt) or Docker? Plus both are less overhead. What sort of applications are you trying to run?

Windows 11 comes with Hyper-V installed (Type 1 Hypervisor) so it should fare better in terms of resource usage/allocation than Oracle VM (Type 2 Hypervisors)
