He's a moderator. Isn't that the point? Should we not have mods? That's what it seems like some of you are asking. I'm not sure there's a clear way to moderate this forum properly because there are no clear rules on what is allowed or not allowed. For example, people like troll topics, but it can't be too much of a troll topic, etc. There needs to be clear boundaries on what is against the rules in this place. That's the only way this place is gonna be moderated fairly.

But people care too much about the fukkery to want clear guidelines. You can't have it both ways.

I could be wrong but I think most, if not everyone that one starred Meach's thread did so because they disagreed with his opinion, not because they thought the thread should be closed.

There are a bunch a great people that visit the arcadium daily. I don't know about everyone else but I've noticed the Arcadium getting better recently. Just look at the first page. A good 95% of the threads are all informational with good conversation back and forth. Ever since BasedPrime and now Dboy have been banned there has hardly been any direct harassment of members like there used to be. Not too long ago it was common to see 4 or 5 threads on the first page disrespecting specific members.

Meach provided evidence to support his points in this case. What more would you have him do? He showed several glitches the game has. The debatable point was whether or not the game is AS broken/unplayable as MCC was.

Moderation in the arcadium has been effective. If I can suggest, maybe a thread can be stickied at the top of the first page detailing some rules. I know it's not possible to detail every little thing, but maybe some bullet points for rules of conduct would help clear up a bit of the confusion here. Personally I enjoy the Arcadium.

One of those one stars was from me, because I don't currently agree with your point overall. Time will tell as more issues get documented whether or not Bloodborne can be considered broken, or even be compared to the failure that is MCC. Most people I have seen discussing Bloodborne seem to be thoroughly enjoying it. If ANYTHING, grounds for locking your thread should have been that maybe your point didn't deserve a thread all of its own considering there is already a Bloodborne thread stickied on the first page.

My thread wasnt even trying to compare the two games. I was comparing the reaction to the problems in the games. And I was more comparing it to unity which has very similar problems.

I'm going to use the coliseum as an example since its where I primarily post nowdays. I can make a thread titled "Kevin Durant is the best SF of all time" with supporting information to support my opinion. I probably will receive 15 neg reps/one stars but a mod will not close my thread. the thread will die on its on because the community is what navigates towards whatever story we want to see. liquid deciding if a thread that's not a troll thread deserves to live is ridiculous. it sounds like it was influenced by his own damn opinion.

The console wars will never end and there are consistently threads in the arcadium bashing one console over the other. What makes Sony so special that they can't be criticized? The man has an opinion, which he supported with evidence several times. What more could you possibly have wanted from him?
