:russ: at the Bucks trading Ray Allen for Gary Payton for half season rental, only for Payton to sign else where, so the Bucks lost 2 superstars for nothing.

bucks signed bobby simmons. laugh if you want but 5 years 47 million is nothing to laugh at. sure he was overpaid and a bum. but he was a big time free agent.

Oh yea I forgot about Bobby Simmons. I think that was the season before he won MIP that year. He was good, but :beli: I wouldn't call Bobby Simmons ever big time. :comeon:

true but its hard to sign a big name free agent. to me, signing a second tier guy to a 8-10 million dollar contract should count too. bobby simmons, peja, hedo, jason terry. now that i think about it, its crazy how much those dudes were making back then. i remember when bibby got like 80 million cause of that playoff series against the lakers.
