• The phrases "five-star match" and "match of the year" are not to be used by commentators.

• Vince McMahon does not want announcers reading "dirt sheets," because he feels that they influence their performances.

• Kevin Dunn does not want announcers using the phrase, "the title changes hands".

• Vince McMahon does not want WrestleMania referred to as, "The Granddaddy of them all" any more. This is because he feels that it makes the event seem dated.

• Stephanie McMahon does not want the announcers mentioning that a referee simply missed something a heel does behind their back during a match. She wants them to say something along the lines of. "the referee's vision was blocked and or impaired".

I get the first one, those phrases are kinda smarkish in nature. But some of the others in the list, take away the natural flow that wrestling commentary suppose to have. I think that's one of the problems that commentary has at the moment. Its not as natural as it was with the teams like JR and King or even Striker and Matthews on SD a few years ago.
